January 13th incident - Queen of Oak Bay

The kind of story that doesn't make the news - at least not usually the front page. But it happens more often than the bad incidents. The Queen of Oak Bay and her crew stood by a vessel taking on water until the Coast Guard arrived on Saturday the 13th.

maritime law. the nearest vessel to a mayday call responds. there were probably other smaller vessels responding to the mayday call of this incident but when they heard that the oak bay was responding then they probably stood down
