You have to book way in advance if you are taking a vehicle as the Inside Passage is pretty popular during the summer. You still have book ahead if you are a passenger though. What me and Scott did was he drove on with his vehicle and I had to walk on seperately on each sailing as we both booked separately. You probably could drive on together but they have a certain number of foot passengers and vehicles on the list for each sailing. Depending when this is I might just go up and do a roundtrip on the Inside Passage and stay on the boat and meet you guys for either southbound or northbound trip. I think it would be cool sleeping on the Nor Ad in Prince Rupert, lol!

Karl is right. Especially if you want a stateroom. If the price is too expensive then get a couple of guys together to split the cost.
It is cool watching the loading. Was really hard to see though on the QoftN with the bow visor and nose in PR.

Great suggestion, Chris. I, however, will probably be saying goodbye to our original flagship on the route she opened when the Northern Adventure (hopefully) comes south for refit sometime after the summer. This was quite a memorable trip, including accross to the QCI / Haida Gwaii, when I did it for the 1st anniversary of the sinking of the Queen of the North and I hope to make a similar trip - staying aboard for the entire journey from Port Hardy to Skidegate and return like a cruise ship, though having to check in a couple times in between - for my last time aboard.

How about this??
Queen of Prince Rupert Southbound from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy June 06 departing Prince Rupert at 1pm and arriving in Port Hardy at 11:45am the next day stopping at Klemtu Shearwater and Bella Bella enroute to Port Hardy.
The overnight service is cheaper than the day cruise but the overnigh service ends on the 07th of June. We probably would have to take the day cruise going up to Prince Rupert as we can go up the day before which would be the 5th then take the Rupert the next day Southbound. A rough estimate would be under $500.00 I would say. $141.20 for the day cruise and $104.20 for the Rupert not including a cabin and food. A night in Port Hardy and a night in Rupert. Or another option would be to drive up to Port Hardy overnight so we could eliminate a night in a hotel and just drive all night up to Port Hardy if you want to pull an all nighter!
Port Hardy to Prince Rupert June 5th on the Nor Ad Prince Rupert to Port Hardy June 6th departing 1pm on the Queen of Prince Rupert arriving Port Hardy June 07th at 11:45am.
What do you think?? Anyone interested??
Only thing is it would be Wednesday to Saturday trip!
