Here's a thread to keep right beside the solo trips.
To be honest, I have no life right now outside of work. This weekend I have nothing better to do, so I'm considering doing a random trip. I'm not big on going alone, but I just might go alone anyway. So if anyone else is in the same position as me, keep reading and please respond.
I was on Route 3 (Horseshoe Bay - Langdale) and Route 7 (Earls Cove-Saltery Bay) last weekend, so I'd prefer if those trips were cut from consideration. So I'm thinking maybe a trip on the Coastal Renaissance to see the Coastal Inspiration at Departure Bay. Otherwise I might venture out to Tsawwassen for a trip on Route 1 on a V-Class.
Anyways, I'll see what kind of response I recieve tonight, and will decide tonight whether or not to do a trip tomorrow or Sunday.

I was considering a getaway on the Queen of Saanich on Sunday. Probably the 4pm sailing. Hey Chris, Last weekend, did you visit the Q. of Esquampton all tied up at Langdale?

I am in for a trip sometime this weekend. Preferably a southern route (ie SGI or rt 1), since like Karl, I don't really feel like driving up island again.

Yes, I did visit the ol' Eskie at Langdale last weekend. A sad sight to see, yet nothing has changed on the outside of her, other than maybe some more rust. Sunday trip on the Queen of Saanich sounds good to me.

I am super excited about Sunday on the Saanich! Have we all agreed on the 4pm sailing? Where should we meet, on the ship or at the terminal?

Well I tried to find a good connection, for trying to catch the Queen of Nanaimo to one of the Gulf Islands, to transfer on to either the Mayne Queen or Queen of Cumberland to Swartz Bay. There's no way that would work unless you spend the entire afternoon on one of the Islands, and missing the 4:00pm sailing. So now I'm debating about catching the 1:00pm or 2:00pm sailing out of Tsawwassen.
My guess would be the Swartz Bay Berth 1 waiting room for a place to meet up, around 3:30pm or so?

3:30 in the waiting room sounds good. It shouldn't be ridiculously busy (well, it will be busy, being a Sunday afternoon, but not too bad...).

I will be there around 3:30pm for the 4pm sailing. I will either go roundtrip on the Saanich or take the 7pm SOBC back to Swartz Bay!

Confirmed indeed! It'll be easy to find me, I will be the one wearing the 7-inch platform boots! Just to let you know, I am really shy and quiet when I first meet people. I would really appreciate it if someone harpoons me and reels me into the group, otherwise my shy behaviour will cause me to ignore everyone.

Cool, a female on a ferry nerd trip. Are we allowed to do that?
Usually, we are pretty chatty so you should warm up pretty quickly.

Trust me, it won't be hard to find us. Look for the guys enamoured with provisions loading and discussing which ship(s) are running behind schedule.
I'll be there, probably wearing a black jacket.
