I wasn't sure where to put this, but I had to post since for the first time in the four years I've been traveling to and from Sidney I saw a B.C. Ferry on our side of the border today. I assume she was sea-trialing...I apologize for the lousy quailty of the photo. Not only did I have my cheap camera, but the batteries were packing it in as well. If anyone wants the full sized ones, let me know and I'll email them to you. BTW--which one is this? I couldn't read her name. Below, sailing just north (or is it west? I'm never sure) of Spieden Island. With Stuart Island behind, heading toward Turn Point.

WooHoo: You found the Quadra Queen II. We were wondering about that ship today, on another thread. She left a Victoria shipyard today, and is heading back into service at north Vancouver Island (Port McNeil).
Thanks for being in the right place at the right time.

There's something you don't see often. Reminds me of the time I saw Her at Horseshoe Bay fresh out of refit in December of 2004. Only time I've ever seen the vessel. I've got the pictures to prove it. Departing Horseshoe Bay In Howe Sound, as Seen from the Queen of Surrey
