Type/tag: .wcp
You have to have the correct software order to run the video. I'm sorry I couldn't get it into .wmv or .mov but that's the software we used to edit the video. If you've got software called "InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2" or something along those lines you should be able to run it. I'm not sure for those who don't, Macs definetly not. Sorry for the disapointment, I hope you can understand the problem here. I can't change the tag or the format, so sorry.

Apparently the Nimpkish had some modification work done to her for that route. She currently has a ramp added to her stern similar to the Kwuna...

The Spirit of Lax Kw'alaams (Nicola) uses the same dock/terminal as the Prince Rupert airport ferry (Digby Island Ferry) - this terminal is beside the Alaska State Ferry terminal, which is beside the BC Ferries terminal. How about that - in Prince Rupert we have four different ferry companies using three terminals, all in the same bay of the harbour.

That's an interesting photo of the Nicola, with the added bow and stern ramps, and what looks like a starboard loading area. She appears to have her aboriginal name across the front, under the bridge, while 'Nicola' still appears on the car deck's side. Never seen a ferry with two names before- does that mean she's still officially the Nicola, and the aboriginal name is just like a nickname?

Yeah, she's still registered as the Nicola.

What is the route the Nicola does, and how much does it cost to go on here? Because when i am in PR i would like to go on her.

She runs a route from the Prince Rupert Airport Ferry dock (right beside the Alaska Ferry terminal and the BC Ferries terminal) through the length of the Prince Rupert harbour and then up to the head of Tuck Inlet. From the head of Tuck Inlet there is a road to the community of Lax Kw'alaams (Port Simpson). I'll see if I can find a website that has the schedule and fares. The schedule is always in the local newpaper here. Anyway, I'll find out what I can and let you know.

So, it is a public ferry, then? Although it's operated by the native band?

Nice.
Comparing the two, and looking at them in comparison to the AJ Savie, the Nicola looks smaller then Mr. Savoie? Either A) the Nicola missed out on an expansion of the deck; or B) The indians shortened it. lol
