I love the angle on this photo. Thanks for this. The wake being churned out as the Cathlamet approaches dock suggests that WSF hasn't adopted BC Ferries' policy of cutting engines a fair way out and just drifting into dock to save on fuel. I miss those more dramatic approaches. I thought that was more to do with what happened to the Coastal Inspiration at Duke Point, than fuel savings.

I took a quick trip on the Cathlamet from Fauntleroy to Southworth back in early April, here's a few pics. I love the angle on this photo. Thanks for this. Thank you! The Triangle route provides for lots of neat photo opportunities of the other boats on the run.

About a year ago I was at Vashon and saw the Kitsap and Chelan alongside the Cathlamet. The two other sisters both looked VERY bright and shiny in comparison to the Cathlamet. I can't imagine another year of wear has made her paint any newer
