;D I forgot about that. I'm on the Hyak as we speak and I did not notice anything out of the normal. On the topic of exhaust, does WSF use regular diesel? The fumes smell different than other diesel engines. There's a percentage of biodiesel--it's low, though, like 5% or some such.

LOL, that sign could've come in handy at my sister's in Bremerton. I now suffer at the pain of a severely sprained ankle. LOL.
I wonder if those are gonna be put on all vessels?

IMG_3708 by zargoman, on Flickr It was dark and sunny yesterday. The Klahowya and Tillikum pulled into Vashon at the same time. We crossed paths because the Klahowya was going to Fauntleroy and the Tillikum to Southworth. IMG_3690 by zargoman, on Flickr

I got on the Tillikum for the 15:20 sailing from Vashon to Fauntleroy, and man does she have the Christmas spirit! There was a wreath on the piclefork railing, and those posts in the cabin that help support the ceiling were wrapped in wrapping paper! Oh, man, if only I could figure out how to post pictures and faces on this thing...

Please read my PM to you ... Thought you guys used the numbers 13-24 instead of PM. If that is not what you were talking about, than please explain. A 'PM' is a personal message, hence the letters P and M. ;D If you look just below the flagship image at the top, on the left you should see the statement "Hey, wsfan, you have # messages, # are new. The number of messages will be highlighted as a link. Click there and you're at your inbox, which is where your PM's show up.

My photos are on Flickr and there's a "Share" button right above the photo. I select the "Grab the HTML/BBcode" and select the size and then copy it and paste it here. That's one of the reasons I really like Flickr.

Whoa! That pic is GREAT! ;D I always crave pics in which Ferries and snow can be seen in the same image. Wednesday is gonna be a great day for snow. But of course, it is gonna be bad for driving. Why am I rambling?

I was fortunate and got called at 130 to work. Roads were just starting to get white. I absolutely love the snow. There were only about 30 cars on the 0450 from Bremerton. Only one bus showed up...its going to be slow today

I am shocked you even got 30! I do not think either 4:50 or 16:50 are commuter hours. (Please use either AM and PM or military next time ya post a time, zargoman.)

It's also fairly standard on the forum, along with 04:50, 4:50, 4:50am, among others.

After having the Evergreen State down here, I started looking at photos of the Tillikum from when she entered service. Like her sister, the pickleforks were widened when the "catwalk" was built between them. I haven't been able to find any info on when it was done though.

That work was done after the Klahowya returned to service after her mid-life refit, so it would've been no earlier than 1996.

A little over a week ago, I had a chance to take the Southworth-Fauntleroy run for the first time ever. Traveling aboard the M.V. Sealth, I was able to get the following pix of the Tillikum. This is my first time photographing the Evergreen State-class ferries, and the Tillikum made a fantastic subject this day! M.V. To date I've only posted screen shots of models near completion, but this time I thought I might take the liberty of showing a couple of a model of the MV Tillicum I just started to illustrate the process. My way of doing it anyway. Unfortunately, I've not been able to get these images to show directly. Notice that you can see through the wire mesh cage. Larry sdrv.ms/TzTqhm
