Watched the Grey Cup Game on my computer via ESPN3.com and am very happy to see the BC Lions win the Grey Cup. This is a really good Christmas present to Vancouver and the province of British Columbia. And, to us Lions fans here on the US side as well. ENJOY YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP, BC!

Even Chad Croaker with his fingernails-on-a-chalkboard vocals at half time couldn't spoil it.
But what if Odell Willis had picked off that bizarre Lulay pass... after his rude comments a couple of days ago, he won't be able to get out of Winnipeg fast enough.
And what was Hamilton thinking letting Arland Bruce go? When he arrived the Lions season turned around. He just opened up so much more room for the rest of the Lions' offense.
Remarkable, from 0-5 to the Grey Cup. A team which, put together, doesn't earn half as much as one of the Sedins.
Well done, Leos.

Almost fifty years after Hamilton's Angelo Mosca laid a dirty, out of bounds hit on the Lions' superb Willie Fleming, knocking him out of the 1963 Grey Cup game and sending him to hospital, it's clear bad blood still remains, at least between Mosca and the Lions' star quarterback of the day, Joe Kapp.
This video from the Grey Cup dinner. These two are 73 years old. I don't believe this was staged.

From my limited viewing of the 1963 play, I've always noticed that the Mosca hit was not as "late" as I'd thought it would be. A bit late, but not blatently late. But yes, Fleming was clearing already down on the play, so no need for that hit.
