Are they eligible now? I will add the link to the first one tomorrow. Photo level is now good. thanks for making those changes. But the links aren't working properly. - look at how Kahloke's links work (he did his photos earlier in this thread) and make it work the same. ie. the link takes you directly to the banner photo (not to a Flickr page).

Did I do this correct now? Your flagship nominations do not meet the minimum size requirements. They need to be at least 1080x300. Please read the Flagship Submission Guidelines for more information.

Now the only thing left to fix is to make the Direct Link image the correct size. - 1200 x 340 is preferred, but you can go as small as 1080 x 300 if you really need to. - your direct links are all currently at 1024 x 290

Flickr will allow you to post photos at larger sizes. For the monthly 'Flagship' submissions you need to post to Flickr at 1200 x 340 as indicated above by Mr. Fluge. Now, click on this link to my (Wett Coast Flickr). You will see near the top of the page a section marked 'sizes'. What you need to do next is follow these steps: 1 - Click on 'Large 1024' if it is not already chosen. Right click on the image. From the short-cut menu that comes up click on 'Copy Image Location'. This will copy to your computer's 'clip board' the 'URL' address of that image at the large size. Then go back to the page you are working on on this forum and paste that URL address where you want it to go. You then must put image handles around the URL address that you have just pasted. This will display an image at the large size, rather than just a link. 2 - You then go back to your image on Flickr and click on 'Original' (1200 x 340) size link. That opens up your photo at 'full size'. Again, right click on this larger image. From the short-cut menu that comes up click on 'Copy Image Location'. This will copy to your computer's 'clip board' the 'URL' address of that image at 'original' size. Then go back to the page you are working on on this forum and paste that URL address where you want it to go. You MUST NOT put image handles around this URL address. You must have just a 'link' to the full size. Here is the URL address of a 'large size' version of my brother's photo of the Queen of Cowichan from way back when: farm9.staticflickr.com/8040/8052730062_1e612583e3_b.jpgNow, I am putting the same URL address in IMG handles so that you see an image rather than a link: Lastly, here is a link to the 'Original size' (1200 x 340) of this image: farm9.staticflickr.com/8040/8052730062_fcd349075e_o.jpgMr. Fluge and the other moderators would not be amused if I surrounded this last link with 'IMG' handles. BTW, there is an IMG tool available to use with the 'Post Reply' dialogue box provided with ProBoards forums. It is the little button fourth from the left in the row of buttons just above the little smiley 'emoticons' . I hope that this helps you to get where you want to go.

Flickr does upload them at full size, but it seems that you can't see them at sizes above 1024 unless you are a Flickr Pro member. I can see photos posted on Flickr by Mr. Awesome at sizes well above 1024 because I am logged in as a pro member. He, and you can't see them because you are 'free' members. I would suggest becoming a 'Pro' member at $25 (US) per year. I do realize that the cost may be an issue for some however. In my opinion Flickr is the best photo sharing & display site on the internet. I do know that several other WCFF photographers use Flickr & feel the same way I do about this. Alternatively you could go with some other photo sharing site such as 'photobucket'. I used to upload two versions of each 'Flagship' submission to photobucket. One at full size and the second at the smaller 1024 (formerly 800) pixel width.

Can I buy a card that can only be used ounce instead of using my dad visa.

I find Flickr to be an exceptional deal and a fantastic resource, with a lot of fantastic features while being ad-free, but I do get where you're coming from. I suggest using Picasa (previously mentioned) and signing up for an account there. Or use Photobucket (which is what I use for headers/signatures, as I prefer to have my headers/signatures separate from my Flickr photos). It's an extremely easy and free resource.

I actually usually use Panoramio for my large size flagship photos, and get them posted on Google Earth for the World to see while I'm at it. It's free. I use Flickr for the small copy.

Are they eligible to be in the flagship banner for the forum?

Are they eligible to be in the flagship banner for the forum? Hey, you know the answer to that, because you set it up with panoramio to be 1200 x 340, and you've checked. I've checked them too, and I agree with you that they are correctly done. What did you learn from all this ? - and how tough was it to figure out Panoramio ? - will you do it the same way next month?

So, yes? It really easy to use panoramio you just have to copy the URL from the top of the web browse. Yes. Determines if I have photos for it.

Yes. Determines if I have photos for it. One more bit of advice for Mr. A. Cheese: It appears that what you did to create your 1200x340 banner was to take your uploaded 1024wide photo and just enlarge it. - By doing this, your 1200x340 banner loses some photo quality, by the image being a bit blurry or grainy. What you should do next time is start with an uploaded 1200x340 image, and then shrink-down to get your 1024wide displayed image. - instead of starting small and enlarging up. Or just start from scratch (ie. from your original full-resolution image) when doing your 1200x340 Panoramio banner. ps: - May the Cheese be with You.

Yes, you should. If I were you, I'd redo them so that they are the best quality possible. When people see the 1024wide sample on the ballot, they need to be confident that the 1200x340 banner will be the same quality.
