LOL. April Fools front pages are always good humor? That thing if it existed should never see the light of day. Looks like the Queen of Richmond's Third Cousin.

I think this Loo Flrpa article is the best thought out this year. Thanks for the quality contribution, kam.

It looks like half the superstructure is missing, could be that it was found at Alang...

Of all the times I've seen/been on the Quinsam, I would say that that boat would still be an improvement...

Beautiful photos, Scott!!
I was aboard the Quinsam for much of the day today, participating in the SAREX that Scott mentioned. With regards to her big refit she's just completing, she looks really nice at the moment. Her car deck is nice and clean, and there's barely a spec of rust anywhere. The interior lounges have identical furnishings to those seen on the Quinitsa. However I remember reading in another thread that someone from the FAC had gone for a tour recently, and they didn't like the layout of the seating. Well, from what I could tell, the Quinsam still holds on to her socialable seating. There are rows of seats in sets of twos all down along the side of the lounge that has the windows, but they are grouped in sets of four to be facing each other. Also there is one long row of seating against the opposite wall, so you can look straight out at the windows. The seating is nothing to brag about.....perhaps it was nicer before....I think fibreglass/plastic is nicer to sit on vs. steal mesh in my opinion.

If that's the Quinsam, I must say that that's a substantial improvement from hen I last rode her a few years ago. When I last rode her, the benches in the passenger lounge, if it could be called that, were fibreglass.
