The theme for the February-March 2018 flagship is our annual "Best of the Previous Year" ferry photos. What we are looking for are your best, or favo(u)rite, ferry photos from 2017. Quick rules: - the photo must have been taken in 2017 - the photo must be your own - it must be a photo of a ferry, or 2, or 3... - Limit of 2 photos per person (normally, we allow 3 nominations, but due to the all-inclusivity of this category, we expect a large number of entries) ----------------------------------------- Entries will be accepted until 5:00PM PST, January 29th, 2018, followed by a 2 day voting period - Preferred banner size is 1200 x 340 (pixel size), however we will accept banners down to 1080 x 300. But 1200x340 looks best. The following image is outside of the standard dimensions (actually 1096x340 for the full size version). I wanted to keep the subject ( Q Nanaimo) centred & 'whole', though I have cut the mast just a bit. This is a photo of the Nanaimo taken on the 27th of July 2017 at 9:40 AM. I want to submit this photo not because I consider it to be one of my 'best of the year', but more as a favourite, or for just plain sentimental value. The photo shows the Nanaimo nearing the end of what turned out to be its last revenue sailing with BC Ferries.  An ailing & worn out Queen of Nanaimo limps toward Tsawwassen Terminal on 27 July 2017

My first entry is the CCel in Active Pass from a lovely sunrise sailing over the Thanksgiving weekend. I'm still working on choosing my second.
