748 feet overall estimated length. That would be 228 m, which raises the question: Could a ship that long fit through Active Pass? Purdy good question - I would think that if there are no other physical limitations, then you would have to restrict passage through most parts to JUST THIS VESSEL,due solely to it's length and maneuverability characteristics.

When are the 2 Coastals expected to have their 1st refits at Deas Not in 2008 (which is the TOPIC of this thread). I would hesitate to guess that the Coastals are at least 8 years out of a major refit. As for your other issue, geez, Gordon, please -- EVERY post you make is OFF TOPIC.

Klitsa has been in refit for quite some time now. I have no idea what they're doing, but the car deck looks completely refinished or refurbished. She is also wearing a modified paint scheme. First image is pre-refit, second image is as of now.

I must say, i rather enjoy this new paint scheme way more then the old one that the Klitsa had.
