I'm talking about the C's after the mid life refit.

Here's an idea: We put the Tachek on route 18 in the summer only, but use the NIP as the primary vessel for all seasons. The QQII goes back to where it was (route 25) and send the Kahloke back where it was (route 22). The Klitsa stays on 20 year-round.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but every island in BC that is served by BCFS wants a bigger, newer ferry. Texada is not underserved by any stretch of the imagination.

Maybe if BCF had taken the Queen of the North off the Northern route by Febuary, then maybe she wouldn't have sunk. I just thought I would have liked to see the Queen of the North with the Spirits on Route 1(Swartz Bay-Tsawwassen). Of course she would need major refitting to fit the docks properley, but otherwise it would have been a good route for her to run on.

One thing that pisses me off about the arrangement after mid life, is that the Surrey is still gonna be on the Langdale route. I think the Surrey should be put on route 2 along with the Oak Bay. Have the Surrey #1 out of HSB and have the Oak Bay out of Departure Bay, along with the Coquitlam as the extra seeing the Coquitlam is the first ship to have the mid life. Have the Cowichan on the Langdale run with the Esquimalt. It seems to me that the Langdale crew and residents of Gibsons and the people up there are just goodie goodies and greedy and they only want the Surrey! I am just saying that's all is what I think. They should be lucky they dont have the Alberni!!
And why the heck would you put the Queen of the North on route1??

Oh, compliment, definately. There's only one Quinsam Teen, and if you didn't already exist, we'd have to invent you.

Well, fanks very much. But it's too late now, if only I did know about the Queen of the North sinking I could have said that to BCFS and they would have moved the Queen of the North to Route 1.

Inspiring suggestion! Perhaps extra sailings? It's a bit crazy, but it could work!

Yeah, if only the Queen of the North had sunk in shallow water.

Here is my suggestion for some of the routes. Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen 1. Coastal Renaissance 2. Spirit of British Columbia 3. Queen of Saanich 4. Spirit of Vancouver Island 5. Queen of the North (If it didn't sink)
HSB-DPB As it is now but with the Queen of Surrey.
HSB-Langdale: 1. Queen of Esquimalt 2. Powell River Queen (Auxiliary vessel)
Brentwood Bay-Mill Bay: (Changed to Swartz Bay to Mill Bay, move the Mill bay terminal further into the village) 1. Mill Bay 2. New vessel similar to the Mill bay but larger.
Comox-PR: 1. Queen of Burnaby
Southern Gulf Islands-Tsawwassen: 1. Queen of Nanaimo 2. Queen of Tsawwassen (If it wasn't for the training decision)
Southern Gulf Islands-Swartz Bay: 1. John Atlantic Burr 2. Queen of Cumberland 3. Mayne Queen
Swartz Bay-Saltspring: 1. Skeena Queen
Campbell River-Quadra Island: 1. New vessel similar to Skeena Queen/Osprey 2000
Nanaimo Harbour-Gabriola Island: 1. Quinsam
Denman Island-Buckley Bay: 1. Kwuna (Only if the ramps are removed from her) 2. Kulleet (Only if the ramps are not removed from Kwuna and only if BCFS buys her from Translink)
Skidegate-Alliford Bay: 1. Queen of Chilliwack (After the wings are removed)
Inside Passage:
1. New cruise vessel 2. New cruise vessel 3. Titanic type vessel but smaller and not steam powered (Unless you want it of course!)
Discovery Coast: 1. New vessel 2. Garibaldi II (Only if stretched and renovated)
Earls Cove-Saltery Bay: 1. New Intermediate vessel that carries between 110 and 130 cars.
Denman-Hornby Islands: 1. Kahloke (Winter) 2. Tachek (Summer)
Bowen-HSB: 1. Queen of Capilano (Summer) 2. Howe Sound Queen (Winter)
Vesuvius Bay-Crofton: 1. New Vessel similar to Saltspring Queen but carries 85 Cars.

Put the Super C's on Route 1, freeing up the Spirits. Once they're free, modify the ramps at Porteau Cove, and Darrel Bay, and run them in tandem, until they fall apart. Then we can piece the Queen of Victoria back together, and put her as an extra on Route 30, and while we're at it, lets buy the Queen of Sidney, and hire a mechanic to fix her, so she's good to go on the Mill Bay route. But just for fun, lets bring the Vesuvius Queen back, and put her on the Inside passage, after she is lengthened 100 feet, and given an upper car deck.

No need for the Chilliwack on the Skidegate to Alliford Bay as it's only a 20 min sailing and dosent need a 115 car ferry between the two islands! Better to have C on Langdale than the Esquimalt full time. C class plus the Esquimalt would work.

Or a S Class Would Work. Less Overloads would be good if HSB Langdale had a 400-450 Car Ferry

I think we should also buy the Kalakala from the washington owner, and refit it for service on the Discovery Coast Passage.
In winter, she could be an auxiliary vessel on the PorteauCove-DarrelBay route.
(oops, I think I just fell into the troll's trap.....)

A way they could salvage the Queen of the North is to cut up the Queen of the North In small pieces and put her back together on land. It's so crazy it just might Work
