Take longer to load then sail. Just driving from the ramp to the opposite end of the ferry and you would be halfway across .

I heard a rumor that CI will eventually go to route2 and that CC will go up north to Prince Rupert Yeah, lol, and the Coastal Celebration will enter the Alaska trade, hence the berth rebuild at Prince Rupert. ;D

The MV Mill Bay will be running the Hecate Straight but only during the winter storm season. And I won't repeat the rumours yet about the Queen of Richmond because that will get everyone too excited and take away from the CR's arrival.

Can we expect the Q of Chilliwack to be placed as the #1 boat on route 30 out of Duke Point? Surely its speed would be an advantage? Great for the truckers; it even has showers on board.

And what would the CC do in prince rupert? She will not be capable of doing the inside passage or the QCI run for many reasons, the biggest being that the Super-Cs are only capable sailing in seas less than 2 metres and are not capable of sailing in anything that even resembles open water.
Or did you mean something other than the Coastal Celebration?

It is possible that the Vancouver will be a truck ferry from Tsawwassen to Sidney NOT Swartz Bay.When Coastal Celebration enters service, it will be boat #1 from Swartz Bay, SOVI#2 boat,Saanich spare (sitting in Departure Bay in the off season and Langdale in summer) and Esquimalt retires. One last rumor:Burnaby possibly going on rte 9 and Nanaimo up to Comox-Westview.

If it was just the Coastal Celebration and the SOVI on route 2, what would the SOBC be doing?

Mill Bay: 1st of all they would be in route 1 not route 2 and 2nd of all the SOBC would be based from Tsawwassen and the Coastal Celebration would do the odd hours and the SOVI would do the even hours although if the Vancouver is a truck ferry, i wonder whats gonna be the even hours based from Tsawwassen
