I just comparing pictures from both vessels. It looks as if the Inspiration is about 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. If you compare today's picture with March 20th and you find FSG are about same stage. If this is case should see the launch of Inspiration around Aug. 8th, not Aug. 31st. This my thoughts. I am correct about Inspirations is ahead of schedule herrbrinkmann. You are correct. We are ahead of schedule- but we have 3 weeks of block holiday in late July and August. So we will have 3 weeks with no work on CI - so the launching will not change and will be on the 31st of August.

Not to start another huge debate, but can anyone confirm the current plan for placement of the Inspiration once she arrives in BC waters..? A rumor currently circulating around the terminals is that she could be placed on Route 30 once she gets here (for testing?), even though there has been no mention of this anywhere... Markus, have you heard anything about this..?

In fact, we normally do not know, where the vessels will be put, so I can´t help you from my site. Sorry for that.

I don´t know if we will send photographers down to the production everyday, as we now have this live webcam. When I am back in the company (I have now two weeks off for my baby) I will ask the responsible person. But it can also have to do with our block holiday, though I don´t think so, as the last pic of 734 is really old. So if they don´t, I will try to do - at least once a week.

Good thing to hear she's about one week away from taking her first dip into the sea. She's looking good.

They have just removed the side gangplank as was seen in place on this August 30 picture.

Wow... That gangplank looks so much bigger in the top picture than it does in the bottom picture, even taking perspective into account.

I thought they were, too. Maybe something odd has happened. Anyway, the tugs are fastened to the FSG dock. And I'm going to my berth. Offline for awhile. Good night (morning)!
