Markus,
When the deckhouse modules are brough from Poland (?). How much of the wheelhouses are outfitted already? Or is the module just entirely a steel shell like the rest of the passenger decks, but with some rough wiring done already?
Also, now that the two deckhouses and the funnel have already been put in place, will the Coastal Inspiration be brought along side the pier again, just like how it was with the Coastal Renaissance and Inspiration in the summer? Or would it just be easier to wait until the Inspiration goes on Sea Trials to bring it back to the pier?

Very cool!!! At some launchings Markus you would have been swept out with the ship and the waves they make. At Flensburger the launch seems to be such a controlled and efficient exercise.

Or would it just be easier to wait until the Inspiration goes on Sea Trials to bring it back to the pier? Answer 1: When they come from Poland, they are nearly complete outfitted. Some panels are missing, as the wiring must be completed when the house is put on. There are a lot of cables which must not be coupled but run in one piece from the bridge to the designated electrical device. This makes it extremely expensive, when you damage such a cable, as you have to exchange the whole cable then. Answer 2: To my knowledge, the CI will stay at the powerplant pier until monday morning when there is trial trip. As we always use tugs and FSG do not own some, we have to pay for every tug assist so we keep it down to a minimum. edit: found another video of the launch:

I think so except for the masts at last look.

Well, technically FSG doesn't consider the masts and exhaust pipes to be modules, but parts.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! Work resumes at FSG. It looks like the outfitting of the new MV COASTAL CELEBRATION will be underway, once again. She is looking good as well as her sister MV COASTAL INSPIRATION. See that lucky fellow climbing up the massive crane? His reward, for all that climbing of stairs and ladders, is the best view of Flensburg!

When will the CC get her 2010 decals?

When will the CC get her 2010 decals? The 3M decal applique team needs some space to work, and with the CI set to leave soon, I would think that once the CI is "out of the way" at the berth, that the decal team will get to it. I am also fairly sure that they have done some of the prep work already to get the CC ready and are just biding their time. Remember that the business at FSG is building ships, and sub contractors doing the outfitting must still be mindful of the other daily ongoing activities. Still lots of days/hours left in the CC's timeline to get those decals stuck on ...

Checking the FSG webcams, and are they doing what I think they're doing on top of the CC's funnel?

Interesting pics. It's funny... without the bridge sections on, she looked a bit like she would be a Super C Alberni:)

Hmmm... That first picture... I spy with my little eye something beginning with MB. ---- BTW, do we have an IMO number yet for the CC? And man, is it ever foggy over there in Flensburg right now!
