The first person to guess the exact date of the CI arriving in Canadian waters for the first time will be the winner (of eternal fame). If no one guesses on the nose, the first person who guesses the closest date, before or after the magic date, will win.
BTW, if you want to better your chances of winning, or if you pick a date someone else already picked, you can also specify a time with the date in your guess.

If the CI doesn't sit around waiting to get through the Panama Canal, March 21.

My guess - 14 March after 35 days in transit. I am hoping that at least one of the Coast Boats can meet the 35 day transit that the Q of Chilliwack apparently did way back in the early 1990's.
So, that brings me to the transit times for BC Ferries built or purchased in Europe. Can we fill in the blanks in my list below...
Stena Danica/Surrey/North - ?? days Basto/Q of Chilliwack - 35 days Sonia/NorAd - 31 days C Renaissance - 47 days C Inspiration - ?? days C Celebration - ?? days NorEx - ?? days
So far, the Sonia is in first place, but the Stena Danica may have been the fastest.

You can't do a fair comparison on any of those. With the exception of the FSG built vessels, they have all hailed from different origins.

All of these vessels started their journey's in Europe and ended up on BC's south coast. The difference in distance is minor. If anything the journey's of the QotN & Chilliwack would be a little longer, the Sonia, a little shorter.

Last call for further guesses, 'cuz once the CI passes under the Bridge of the Americas, this pool will close.
