I was sitting in Milestones at Tsawwassen Mills today around 2pm when these green double decker buses caught my eye heading to the ferry. GO Transit, saw 4 or 5 of them.

The GO Transit buses have come across Canada by train. They are headed to Cruise Victoria, apparently. There has been some discussion about this in the Facebook "RailsBC" group. I expect the buses will be repainted.

There's a lot of discussion on the Facebook today about the transit of Mercury. Apparently, transit service only happens every 13 years at Mercury, because the next one isn't until year 2032.
Do you think this is because the Mercurian government doesn't fund transit enough?
Also, why does the transit happen on Mercury on a Monday, when it really should be a Sunday?

Its much better service then they have on Venus, where the next 'transit' is not until December of 2117. The British government was so interested in the Venus transit that they sent James Cook to Tahiti to study it. That was way back in 1769.
