"Giant Aircaft and Royal Yacht to Greet QE2 November 25: According to Emirates, the International airline of United Arab Emirates a major event is planned to celebrate QE2's arrival in Dubai. When she arrives at the Gulf port, Wednesday November 26, the retiring ocean liner will be greeted by a flotilla of boats and ships led by the world's largest yacht, the 531 foot, Blohm & Voss-built DUBAI, owned by the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. Topping off the arrival celebrations will be a flypast by one of Emirates newly-delivered A380 (the Airbus A380 is largest passenger airliner in the world) a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine airliner). For those in Dubai, a good vantage point to witness the arrival is said to be the stretch of beach between the Grand Hyatt and the fish market."
