Today was a busy one for our ferries, not only because of heavy holiday volume but even moreso because of weather cancellations and heavy delays. Tonight I'll be taking the scheduled 11:30pm sailing of the Queen of Esquimalt out of Horseshoe Bay heading for Departure Bay, but, looking at the actual departures page now, I doubt we'll be leaving that early. I'll report back to you folks tomorrow.
It will be interesting to see what happens at Departure Bay terminal where there is only one double ramped berth remaining currently, and where the Queen of Cowichan will already be tied-up for the night.

The Cow will be doing the 11:30 out of Horseshoe Bay because it is so far behind schedule, and they caught up on the backlog of cars.

I was on the 4:20 out of HSB, it was BUSY. i mean the Lineup for the caf stretched almost from one end of the ship to the other, and with only 1 waiting room @ HSB, the room gets to be a gong show with all the Langdale, Bowen, and Nanaimo Pax all in one place

lol! The delayed 10pm sailings from TSA and SB are only 2 and 3% full. Pretty much empty sailings on the Saanich and Vancouver tonight which will be departing anytime soon as it's 11:10pm right now. Being the ships are really late on route 1 the Spirit ships have been departing close to the even hour sailings and the V's are departing around the odd hour departures, the total opposite of their normal sailings.
