Is it the Tachek that replaces the NIP when she goes for refit and when does that usually take place??? We could plan another trip up to Powell River during that time as I would like to get on the Tachek. My plan would be to go over and back via Comox. The Sunshine Coast would be too long again. Who would be interested in this trip??? I just have a bunch of ideas for upcoming trips so let me know what you think!

Or, you could just do what I did today: ride the Tachek on the Hornby Island route. Or would that be too ho-hum for Karl?

Well I could do it on the Hornby route but I thought the Texada route is a longer crossing so more time on the Tachek and get to ride the Burnaby again. Another party time in Powell River! lol!

I'd be up to it if it happens. Question is will it be the Bowen Queen or the Tachek? I'd like to get on the Bowen [ First Ship I Ever took Pictures of] Queen again but if the Tachek attracts the forum to "Another party time in Powell River!", I'd like it just as much

When was the last time the Tachek did the run??? Either way the Bowen might be interesting to ride on to Texada especially on less busy sailings.

Tachek was on the Texada run, in Feb.2006-March 2006. by the way, "Tachek" was formerly named "Texada Queen", so it would be fitting for you to ride her on her old namesake route...
