I have made the Mill bay, as you know, but I am about to start the Quinsam, and it will be 55 inches long, by 7 inches wide at the bow, and 10 inches in the middle, it will actually fit 70 hot wheels cars onto it, so it will be awesome!!! I have about 24 here, but in england I have at least 60 cars! Well, the model will begin in March, and will be completed in April, and it will be radio controlled, and the Mill Bay will be going in for refit at that time! Should be great!!! Here is where my model ferries will be: (Lego at the top, wood remote controlled at the bottom) pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/harrydouthwaite/album?.dir=d9b3&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos

Nice job done ! Hey, but whenever you think about re-painting it, I do have a good tip for you here - am doing it on my model-ferries too: Buy a roll of painter´s tape, ask for the one for that´s used when you don´t want to paint over the windows - made for painting on even surfaces, and put that first, before you paint the stripes. You´ll be surprised by the good result it gives ! If you need some more tips, just ask.

Dooh "Spirit of Vancouver Island" - show me one of them you sound as if you´ve got more models than the Washington State Ferrie have ships ! I find it just a bit strange, some here talk about models, and yet dissing other people´s models but not showing their own results, is pretty poor I think. It´s pretty easy to buy something in a shop but it´s art to build and create something solely by yourself

Hey HLynx Teen, didn't you mention earlier that you were going to make a lynx model? Just wondering if you had continued to make it.
And yeah, in progress photos would be nice.

I like Harry's model of the Mill bay, it is small, and is sitting upstairs on the floor right now.

It is made of Wood, and yes it does float. But is has a few problems with it right now, which is why when the Quinsam is done, the Mill bay will go in for refit, to fix it. Here are the problems: 1. Propellor has fallen out. 2. Hole where the Propellor was. 3. Lights have fallen off. 4. Not quite big enough in the roofed lane. It will be remote controlled in the near future.
