Is VIA still running that? I thought it was being transferred to a Vancouver Island non-profit society.

Well technically, The E&N Railway Co.(1998) Ltd./RailAmerica owns the railway and operates the dayliner under contract with VIA Rail. VIA supplies the equipment and takes care of ticket sales while the E&N Railway supplies the crews(conductor and engineer). The transfer of the railway to the Island Corridor Foundation has no affect on the VIA Rail operations.
