It looks like somewhere along the way many people were charged double on thier credit cards for their long weekend sailings. BC Ferries says it was due to the windstorm and all the cancelled sailings, but I don't know how that would cause the computer to charge double. I got dinged twice coming back from Departure Bay on Sunday...anyone else get hit with this www.cfax1070.com/newsstory.php?newsId=13139

I got hit as well. I travelled from Tsawwassen to Fulford via Swartz Bay on Friday and returned on Sunday. As well, I used my VISA for breakfast on the Queen of New West. All three charges were duplicated on my card and since I travelled with my car, it was a substantial "glitch". Even though BCF says they are working to correct the problem, I still reported it to VISA just to be sure the error gets fixed.

A brother of mine was also dinged 4 charges for an Easter weekend round trip to Victoria via route 1. His wife, who goes on line checking out her credit card bills, was not impressed!
