Nice pictures of the Spokane. We had memorial service for Bill Bailey last February on the Spokane.
I enjoy seeing interior again. It was nice service where both Ferries pull up and blasted their horns three time before box of ashes floated away. Note .. Bill Bailey worked for WSF for 30 years of which the last ten were on the Spokane.

The dry docking got pushed back for the Spokane. We really don't need a blow-by-blow update on all of the vessel movements and maintenance schedule. It changes so frequently, and often things do not happen the way they were planned when the maintenance schedule gets published, so for the sake of everyone's sanity, would you mind refraining from relaying information from it? If we want to know what's going on with the fleet, we can always go to the WSF website and read the maintenance schedule ourselves. Thanks.

Hey, can some one try to get pictures of Spokane and the Walla Walla in same photo at Vigor. I would love to see Jumbo class sisters together.

I have to say I think the Spokane is the nicer of the two Jumbos. Nice pictures, MP!

Hey, can some one try to get pictures of Spokane and the Walla Walla in same photo at Vigor. I would love to see Jumbo class sisters together. I don't have one of the two of them at Vigor, but I have this one that I took several years ago in Kingston. The only reason I did not enter it into this contest is because it won a previous Forum Flagship contest a few years ago, so I didn't feel it was appropriate to re-enter it again.

Some pics I took of the Spokane over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday): MV Spokane pilothouse and superstructure by compdude787, on Flickr MV Spokane pilothouse by compdude787, on Flickr MV Spokane pickleforks and wake by compdude787, on Flickr Poster of the Black Ball fleet in 1941 on the Spokane: Black Ball Fleet, 1941 by compdude787, on Flickr I missed this ferry coming home on Sunday. It was packed to the limit, with one car parked at an angle so it could fit. I didn't care about missing it, because I like the Puyallup better, and I don't like the seat colors of the Spokane. Most of my pix I've taken with the Spokane, seen earlier in this thread, were taken from a cheap cell phone camera. A few days ago, I decided to take more proper replacements.

Thank you. The Edmonds route seems to have good views to take pictures of the ferries coming in/ or out of the slip.

It's interesting that those two platforms resemble wooden pickleforks jutting out into the water, in the way that they're situated.
