Just in case you didn't notice...Puyallup is back. I just caught it on vesselwatch.

Puyallup came back on midday today, moving Hyak to SEA-Brem. I rode the 4:40 from Seattle to BI. The announcement explained that the galley was closed because Puyallup came online in the middle of the day, due to breakdowns elsewhere in the system.
Incidentally, Wenatchee was in slip no. 2 at Colman Dock this afternoon. When I left from BI this morning, there was a JM II at Eagle Harbor(presumably PUY) and another at Vigor (WEN, I assume) Now they've all moved!

The Puyallup should be back at Edmonds on the 23 of January

I just rode her today and she must have been driven hard at Seattle as she's not as smooth as I remember her being and this boat was the best running mk-ii imo

Saw Puyallup heading toward Anacortes on the ship tracker earlier today...didn’t know it was due for service (I thought the W2 was going out instead). Looks like it’ll be 2 Jumbos in Edmonds for a while.

Yes, you are correct, The Spokane came back into service for the 3:55 sailing to Kingston, and replaced the Puyallup, the Puyallup is now doiong sea trials in the Islands before going into Eagle harbor for maintenance, plus they did a new paint job so she looks Extremely nice, and End no.1 whistle sounds the same

She's currently sitting at slip three in Kingston so she might be coming back and the Walla² must be leaving because I wouldn't think the Spokane would be leaving so soon.... I might be be wrong but I'm never up to date
She could still be leaving I do not know

Hello all, it's me. I haven't visited the forum in a while, but all still looks good. Lately, I've been in the process of building a new ferry model, that being of the M/V Puyallup. There is just one issue: In my research for finding a suitable side-view image showing the inside of the passenger deck (bulkheads, interior rooms, etc.), results are inconclusive as of yet. I was wondering if any of y'all had an image that would fit this description, or even a deck plan. I would go out into the field and take a picture, but at the moment, school (and my current inability to drive) do get in the way, not to mention the Puyallup is not currently at my home route of Edmonds. If not, that's alright. It isn't a particularly time-sensitive issue. Thank you, and have a good night!

Nice thing is there's a West Seattle Water Taxi between Coleman Dock & Seacrest Park.

Lightning knocking out navigational systems? That sounds like something I haven't heard before. Any learned members ever hear of that happening to a BCFS vessel in the past?

I do believe it's happened at WSF before, but the specifics escape me. I'm getting bits and pieces of info as to what the casualty/casualties was/were, but I haven't heard the full story or damage report yet.

A day-and-a-half fix probably can't be 100% major, so I'm not entirely sure how crazy it could've been.

That's definitely more than a blown fuse.

Do any of the WSF insiders know if this is just a sea trials route or some strange vessel assignment? I don’t recall seeing any vessels, especially a Jumbo Mark II go this far north for sea trials.

Do they work on the Jumbo Mark II's there? Or maybe Fairhaven Shipyard? From what I remember, Supers are the biggest boats Dakota Creek is capable of drydocking. The Puyallup just spent about 4 months at Vigor and did sea trials for one day. Did they possibly find something to warrant another drydocking? She did go up to Anacortes on her own power. If so, Vigor has both the Chelan and Kitsap, so it’s unlikely that they have space available.
