Good catch, Chris.
Remember, boys, they're ferries, not "fare-ees".

Hear is a delima, Why does some videos on you tube Temporary say "We're sorry this video is no longer available" when the video has not been deleted? Its temporary because a few hours later or the next day the video works fine. I had this happen a few times. Update: I have clicked on several video links at Youtube and apparently there are other vids with the same issue, Anyone know if it is a maintenance issue? I can not get into any of my videos. 3:49pm Monday

Great video! I always enjoy seeing the entire ship and not just the exterior views. Her horn sounded a little strange to me, is it broken or I am thinking of another horn. Liked the time-out part too ;D. Yeah, it's amazing how they could actually get through the entire ship in 8 minutes. There's also an interesting time lapse voyage of a Queen of Burnaby crossing located nearby to this video.

I was browsing through you tube and found some vids that have been uploaded recently.
First we have a guy driving his semi onto the Queen of Alberni at Tsawwassen
Next we have someone filming from the cardeck of the Skeena Queen while arriving at Fulford:
Thirdly we have a person boarding the HSQ at Vesuvius Bay:
Then there is a lady who filmed a Inspirational video shot on board the Bowen Queen on the Quadra Island run:
Last one for today is buy the same person who boarded the HSQ at Vesuvius Bay but this one is filmed from the cardeck as the HSQ departs Vesuvius Bay:

Reality Check 2006 Onboard the mv Queen of New Westminster:

That last video was . I'm not sure what prompts someone to feel the need to do this. It is much more entertaining to steal the brochures, make airplanes and chuck them off the back of the boat! 10 points if you hit someone on the Car Deck too, (not difficult on the Alberni).

Let me guess you play extreme golf. Extreme golf is where you jog between holes with a reduced bag. None of this teeing up for ten minutes, you put the ball down, relax and hit. Many people actually find they get a better score this way than if they over think and get stressed out. Anyways back on topic, there must be some government program that rewards people for increased physical activity you should submit that vid for. In the past it was participaction. The category would be Extreme Ferry Geek. Anyways thanks for the vids, I needed a glass of wine though to relax after all that running .

OK, this is my first attempt at a video with my camera (among a few last week). The story is that I was standing on the car deck of the Yakima at dusk, grooving on the wind in my hair and the water wooshing toward me, and comforted by the rattle in the background that I associate with riding on the ferry. So I thought I would see what would happen if I tried recording it. Here it is: Not much, not a Hollywood epic, but thought I would share.

Last Friday Afternoon I was on the #2 "Woodgrove" bus (Transit) out of Downtown Nanaimo and while the transit buses normally do make a stop at the Departure Bay Terminal, I have never had a Detour quite like this, See video below. I thought we were going to board the Queen of Oak Bay. Ha ha. We went through the preboard parking lot and cut infront and headed out of the terminal via The off loading ferry traffic. This is due to the re-construction of the parkinglot outside of the new terminal. ps Check out howmany luggage carts the Tractor is pulling, 5, must have been a busy sailing for footsies on the Queen of Oak Bay's 3pm sailing from HB. The Coquitlam is in berth 1. On board #9733 at about 4:50pm

That video is one of my favourites. What I've heard is that this was staged for a truck ad.
