I'm taking this one step further and showing my new Avator picture. This is from Marlin fishing in Mexico last week. It took fishing to a whole new level for me, and I was the only one in our boat that reeled in a marlin! It just happened to be my turn in the rotation. . .luck of the draw! It was about 7 feet long and estimated at 140 lbs. We also caught 3 mahi mahi which were about 20 lbs each on average.

In light of the recent forum trip I'm displaying this [candid] photo for the remainder of the month. And I'm also introducing my slightly higher photo format now 800 X 200 Pixels. Members From Left to Right. Mikey, Dan, Graham, Ernie, Donella Brett, Doug and Chris. Chatting with with Texada crew member, Bernie (I think that's his name). As You Can See, there are Two Points of Notice. This is kind of an inside joke after reading comments on facebook of the CR Open House Forum Group Pic. The Biggest one would be that Chris isn't front and centre, In fact his face isn't in clear view. Another would be no Text. The Photo would look too cluttered with it.

O.k... New signature pic. Yes, the Esquimalt pic is gone (for now), but I may bring her back. I decided to switch to something more recent from the CirclePac. Am I copying Curtis...? Maybe. Anyway, this is an image that I know only I have (insert self-satisfied evil laughter). Anyway, this is just before leaving for the Tsawwassen round trip. I had taken a minute to take pictures of the ship in dock and then was by myself for the walk on. I got to the ramp and they were all up there and they started telling me to hurry up because the crew wanted to leave and might do it without me. So what did I do... Ha-ha, I stopped and took a picture of all those goofs there, then ran down the ramp onto the car deck. I don't think there was any real danger because they loaded a couple cars still after me. Anyway, so everybody is there except for me (behind the camera), Chris was just ahead of me already on the car deck, and Dan's mom isn't there either.

New one... This was just after the Klahowya had retuned to service from annual maintenance/inspection. In keeping with WSF tradition, she received her gold band for 50 years of service.

How does this look? First time I've tried a picture in my signature. Looks good, Ty. My only suggestion is because you used the max-height in the picture of "200px", you should probably reduce some of the vertical space taken above & below the picture. Otherwise the total-signature-area is too far above the 200-guideline. ie. the 3 lines of text at the top could combine into 1; same at the bottom. Or reduce your pic size to say 185px tall, and leave the text as is. ....and welcome to the world of sig-pic cropping. The frustration of needing to remove vertical space, but not having enough horizontal content.

Here's my Signature pic for May - ok, it's a day early, but I was ready for a change. This is a picture I took last weekend on our one nice day. I chose this image because of the spring colours - that new green in the trees - very appropriate for this time of year. On a side note, this is the first of my Washington State Ferries series, of which there are several in the pipeline for upcoming months. Enjoy!

I've ridin the Skeena, very nice trip in the winter, and very uncrowded. I'd highly recommend it.

My signature on the left is a SkyTrain arriving on the Westbound platform at Vancouver's Burrard Station. My right picture is the fastest bus in North Vancouver, N3254, doing a Westbound run on the 210. Taken at Phibbs Exchange.

I have made a new sig to compare the Coastal Renaissnace to the Queen of Surrey. I tried to get two pictures that would match but to no success. The clouds are ok but the land is out of line.

My new signature pic is of Miss Esquimalt's cafeteria. I decided to do this up due to her recent retirement.

In addition to the existing two pictures I have on my sig, there's a shot of the Queen of Esquimalt in light of her retirement. She had a great life.... on the coast.

That's cool. I like the pic of the Esquimalt sailing away, around a corner. It really tells an interesting story.
