Is anyone up for a ride on the Queen of Richmond tomorrow?
Looks like a good day for a group-trip on this ship.
Does anyone know if she's doing supplemental service on Route 1 with the usual Route 9B stops added ?

I'll be there! I think she's doing the suplemental sailings on Route 1. However, before getting down there, we're going from an un-disclosed location over to Langdale to pick up crew from the Sunshine Coast. I wouldn't recomend trying to follow her progress on SiiTech, the AIS is broken as per usual since Chris spilled Jordan's ale in to the unit! I don't remember much of last years trip and passed out down on the mooring flats trying but not succeeding to get back down to the engine room. P.S. Jordan had a little fire in the galley while cooking the ale so we set him up down in one of the void tanks with easier accsess to the bilge water!

Sounds like fun. Count me in! Hopefully this time I'll get some photos of her that aren't out of focus.

I'll once again be serving up Bilge-water stout tomorrow on special.

Alas, my ferry hangover's gotten the best of me, and I'll be sitting back this year. I heard they installed a five meter tall projection screen on her vehicle deck; just hook it up to a computer, I can Skype you guys.

Im in. I got a note from my sister this morning of a large shipment of steel headed past her place on the E&N for Victoria. Had a placard on it saying it was for the new BCF Queen of Hartley Bay. There is still hope of a good design for that.

Apparently somebody left a loaded firearm of some sort at the terminal for the bosun of this vessel (AKA me). It was for the paramilitary training we were doing on the car deck, but it was loaded with paintballs... I bet you could find a video on youtube.

The movie shown down on the car deck was "Raise the Titanic"followed right after with "The Last Voyage" I hate the way the Ill De France was blown-up, burned-out, and half sunk in that one....
