Do you use small harbour ferries or other regularly-scheduled services? Their schedules change from season to season, and sometimes they run extra boats, or have to cancel. Would you like to have a smartphone app that lets you check instantly what the current schedule is? Or just a mobile-friendly web site? Would this idea increase use by locals? Waiting at the dock because you came at the wrong time is frustrating! (Disclaimer: I've created such an app for use by yoga studios, schools, and other businesses and organizations, www.schedule2go.com.) Thanks for your thoughts! Trevor

Because I don't have this technology, I need to check a company's website before I leave my home or work computer. This would limit some spontaneous travel. I think the main west-coast market for this would be for the schedules of the various float-plane companies. In Spring and Autumn, their schedules sometimes change weekly, according to the rapidly shortening or lengthening daylight hours.
