This thread has faded into the back ground of late. Now that fall is here I will be scanning old magazine & news paper articles, posters, etc. Some of these could go on the interesting documents thread that Dane started about 2 weeks ago. For tonight, I have scanned a two-page article from my brother's collection [DOT] which originated from the September 1990 edition of the West Coast Mariner. DOT collection 1990

A perfect end to a great vacation, as I saw the Capilano in perfect lighting, on July 19, 2010: - photos taken from the Coastal Renaissance.

Found an old disk today with pictures taken with my old film camera and scanned. The rest were taken with a first generation digital camera.

My photos of the Queen of Capilano, taken during different parts of the day on 9/21/2010: ================ On her way from Snug Cove to HSB: ----------------- Later in the day, at Horseshoe Bay: - I like the constrast in sizes with the little pleasure-boat and the small-ferry Capilano. - With the Queen of Surrey poking-out from both ends of the Capilano. ----------------- From the sun-deck of the Queen of Oak Bay: .......and a small-looking Capilano travels across a majestic-looking Howe Sound, to Bowen, as seen from Queen of Oak Bay. (also amazing was the planet Jupiter, which was brightly visible just below the moon, for the duration of my evening sailing on Route-2.)
