I am very intrested with this vessel called vesuvius queen. i have down my research on google earth and I may have found the location where she went.
To the point, some of you now the location but can anyone put a GE Aerial photo of the terminals.

Hi All
I am in the Dominican Republic at present and if anyone knows where the Vesuvius queen is here i would love to take some photos..
Any Ideas where whats left of here is hiding?

If she still exists, I'd assume she'd be down in Samana. The website we found a pic of her on, suggests there is no dock on the Sabana de la Mar side of the Samana to Sabana de la Mar route. www.samana.net/marine-services.html

I got into a verbal/physical altercation with a ferry employee on the car deck of the vesuvius queen while she was on the albion run about 20 years ago. Yelled at me for not knowing the height of my 5 ton(rented that day) going to Maple Ridge and on the way back to Fort Langley jumped on the step on the drivers side while I was driving off the vessel-he was restrained by co workers. AHHH Memories-and the food at the snack bars on both sides was good in those days!

On the south side, the little café was shut down before 2003, and the beverage machines were gone by 2005. A bit of a boring wait after that.

Was that the little place where the washrooms were? If it was, it was open in 06, as I have bought hot dogs and coffee there on more than one occasion.
