I was looking through the routes that suggested this what I think of them.
There are two are reasonable car ferry routes, which are better inter-island Gulf Islands service, Nanaimo to Sunshine Coast because it gave other regions more direct service to each other rather than transferring between vessels. There is one passenger only ferry that should be considered by BC Ferries, Downtown Nanaimo to Downtown Vancouver because I think it could there is a needed market for it and gave way for Duke Point route to convert to commercial vehicles only vessels. There is one passenger only vessel that BC Ferries should operate but allow BC Transit and TransLink plan it, Gibsons to Downtown Vancouver because I think most commuters would use which should mean fares should be reasonable and transferable between Sunshine Coast Regional Transit System, TransLink and the ferry. Royal Bay to Downtown Victoria should be handed off to BC Transit and Victoria Regional Transit System, they could plan bus routes to transfer, fares paid by passengers would allow transfers between bus and ferry because this route would help commuters.
I think if BC Ferries wants to make route 30 commercial vehicles only they should order customer vessels for routes that non commercial traffic would want to sail on them because why now Queen of Alberni and Coastal Inspiration are reasonable vessels for non commercial traffic to take.
There are two routes that I kinda want to see more details about how they would operate and what they would use Nanaimo to YVR and Langdale to Squamish because those routes seem like there is better way of servicing them. For Nanaimo to YVR a passenger could be take ferry from Downtown Nanaimo to Downtown Vancouver then take Canada line to the airport on fare. Langdale to Squamish route would there be demand for it?
Downtown Vancouver to Downtown Victoria route BC Ferries would really need to get right because V2V Vacation tried and failed at.
There are two routes, which are Mill Bay to Patricia Bay and Swartz Bay to Nanaimo with car service, is there good reason why these routes are needed.
