Funny, I've never really noticed the post-counter on the main page before.....I guess that my eyes just zone into the "last post" detail on the far right.
Chris mentioned this morning that he looks at the blue-dots on the far-left.
I guess that we all have our own routine in working thru this board.
Wow, these are a lot of posts. Thanks for bringing up this upcoming milestone.

With the 50000 post mark only 2220 posts away, has anybody thought about how to celebrate? Personally, I think it would be cool to have John H have the 50000 post in honour of his founding of the forum.
Any thoughts?

I'm thinking of posting an interior shot of my outhouse next time I get back from Hornby, just to see if I can get a, "Very nice shot of your king-and-queen- head toilet seat cover, Hornbyguy".  |

I missed the 28th Jan - as that was the day in 2005 I signed on. But had been looking at the site a few months before that time....This poor forum has never been the same since I joined.....sorry for all the trouble... Happy belated anniversary, Mr. Cascade. We are still compiling our investigation costs into your assertions that you have made in the last year on this forum. Due-dilligence stuff in verifying that what you say is true. Mr. Investigator should be rendering his account soon, re this. I assume that a 50/50 split of costs between the forum & you is in order? |

And, Cascade, you humble serverant, you.... I think you should also be recognized for the healthy effect your posts have in fighting the scourge of low blood pressure.
It's okay for you to help in the sale of this site, as long as you don't buy it yourself. I'm too old to be forced into learning Cascadian; I would have to retire.
