...and they are running a short series of photos I took on November 1st of last year. On Halloween night and into November 1st, the Skokomish River located six miles north of here flooded, resulting in that famous "Salmon Crossing the Road" scenario often played out on local newscasts. On the 1st of November, I had stationed myself out on a local roadway that had floodwaters crossing the road. Sure enough, the salmon played their usual part, and I caught it on camera. Today, I got final word that they're keen on publishing them, and two are definitely selected for print.

Awesome for you, Steve I look forward seeing that book, and you're on the way to sucsess as a professional photographer (and those photos with your telescope that you took recently were as awesome!) Also looking forward seeing as good if not better this year! Keep it up!

Awesome shots! It's not easy to get shots of salmon crossing the road, let alone salmon in motion. Well done!
