Since we have so many fishing nuts in B.C. and so many ferries-has anybody ever tried to fish(troll) from a ferry?
I realize the main routes go too fast for trolling but I was just wondering if anyone has seen somebody at least trying?

I don't know about fishing from a ferry but I often thought that it would be neat to see someone water-skiing behind a ferry. In my mind I see a group of accomplished (& attractive) acrobatic female water-skiers in skimpy bikinis being towed behind the Northern Expedition as it 'steams up' Grenville Channel on a fine summer's day...

WCK: LOL I know that waterjets on Lake Chelan use the wake of the Lady of the Lake II and Lady Express to jump pretty high.

See, THIS would make the fare increase worth it...

Not trolling but a few years ago when coming home from Mayne island, the Nanny was running very late and the Mayne Queen was sitting in dock waiting, I was sitting in the truck and my buddy asked me "what is that guy doing off the side of the ferry?" yes he must have gotten tired of just sitting waiting to leave, he had his fishing rod out and was fishing off the side of the boat.

In the early days of Route 40, a stop was made in Finn Bay so passengers could do some fishing off the side of the Queen of Chilliwack.
