In just a matter of weeks, our waters will see the last of these two sisters. Diamond sails to Asia via Alaska while Sapphire will winter sailing out of California before heading across the Pacific to Asia. Unlike past years, these ships will remain in Asian for the summer of 2014 rather than returning to our coast. The move seems permanent as there is nothing in the books for 2015 either. Crown Princess, the same length and width but with a full length extra deck of cabins will replace one ship on the 7 day one way sailings, and the much smaller Pacific will enter the 7 day round trip circuit. All in all, a reduction in capacity for 2014.

The crown Princess capacity is 3080psx dbl occupancy & 3800 all berths
