Hello Elwha-O-T-Rocks: Can you correct the list on the last photo? Your software probably has a straightener function, and it would improve this photo (overly slanted photos are ineligible as flagship winners) If you don't have a software that can do this (or can't find it) I'd be happy to do it for you, just send me the original photo. For the other topic that Flugel brought up, he's right in my opinion and I think you should pick another photo (blurring the face is not really an option here, since it's in the foreground). I'm sure you have many other good ones.

One more bit of feedback: - I usually try to avoid close-up of people's faces in my forum postings, especially for a flagship. Maybe it's just me, but I've always thought it is an invasion of people's privacy to display this kind of photograph (just look at the expression of the lady in the middle of the photo). And I've noticed that it's usually the younger members who aren't yet aware of privacy courtesies when doing these types of photos. - ie. I'm not talking about a legal right to privacy, but a common-courtesy respect of someone's privacy. I'm curious what other people think of this issue, especially for a forum flagship. - If this one were a winner, I'd cringe every time that I looked at it. (sorry, no offense intended to Mr. Elwha: but he's given us a good example to discuss). Maybe Elwha on the Rocks should try and crop it so that the people that are closer aren't visible, while keeping the people further away in the photo so it will still be eligible. That way, you can see more of the ferry's superstructure. EDIT: That might not work though, so maybe just pick another photograph. (Hmmmm, I wonder how these vessels feel about us taking pictures of them. I hope they don't feel like we've invaded their privacy.... )

I'm working on replacing and straightening my photos, hopefully they will be up soon. In the meantime, I've taken down the two photos. Sorry about the problems.

I've scrapped my earlier nomination. Here are my 3 real nominations. - all are from a trip that I took last week to the BC Interior. None of these vessels have slug-livery... ----------------- McLure ferry: McLure full size link---------------- Needles ferry: Needles full size link-------------------- Lytton ferry: Lytton full size link

Although tempting as it may be, I will not be submitting any "portals to Satan's Castle" photos for this flagship. Huh? I don't get it.
