For the month of August, I am looking for photographs taken from the stern of a ferry.
Ideally your submissions will show not only part of the vessel, but also the scenery that is aft of the vessel.
Photos submitted may be taken from any deck, provided that it is facing aft and was taken from the furthest publicly accessible area of that deck. The shot may be taken looking off the side of the vessel, but it must also be facing aft and taken from the furthest publicly accessible area of that deck.
Any ferry is eligible for this ballot.
Members may submit up to three (3) photos. Usual size restrictions apply. For further information, please see our Forum Flagship rules, located here. Nominations will end on Wednesday, July 30th at 6:00 PM PDT. Voting will commence later that evening at 9:00 PM PDT.

How many feet or meters should the "furthest publicly accessible area of that deck" be from the real furthest possible point (ie. against the railing) ?

Since the disclaimer says ANY ferry qualifies, I have this from our last trip to Paris, this is from the stern of a Batobus that circles Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint-Louis on the Seine River.

Just to elaborate, Batobus is a passenger-only ferry. Solduc should be able to validate this.

Just for fun before we hit the dog days of summer, I have this one that shot from the stern area of either the Chelan or Evergreen State with Northwesterner.
