Hi everyone, I apologize for the delay! I have been moving back into my humble abode in Prince George for another semester, and accidentally let this slide for a few days. Similar to February of last year, we are looking for your best of the year previous. The maximum permitted number of nominations will be two. This is due to the large number of submissions expected. The standard rules apply (see here). Please ensure all of your links work, and that your thumbnail displays properly. Please note that headers that won previously are not eligible for resubmission.Deadline will be Friday, January 29th at 5 pm. Cheers guys!

Here is a link to an album on Dropbox of my favourite ferry photos of 2014. There are 18 photos there, all with a 60x17 aspect ratio. I must choose one or two of these to enter for this flagship contest. Right now I am leaning toward choosing photos taken on the fifth to last day of 2014.

Seriously, though, that is a nice collection of excellent photos. I particularly like the one of New Westminster leaving Active Pass with Georgina Point Lighthouse in the background. And, I was also drawn to the one of DEV Galena - nicely composed.

If only New Years came a few days later I'd have some more, but considering I only had a camera for 2 days of 2014, I only have one submission Feb Final by lincoln_mcmahon, on Flickr Full Size Here
Size Fixed, Also picked a photo which ends up both fitting the frame and condensing a lot better. Thank you Flugel Horn!

Image LinkedThanks for fixing the link, so that it takes us direct to the photo. However, your full size link is still too small. - It needs to be 1200 x 340.

And the "direct link" doesn't take me to a direct photo at all now. Sorry, but I've reached my available-time limit, so I'll now leave the fixing to you to do or not. - unfortunately, if it's not done right by deadline, it can't be a nomination. I will leave the responsibility with you to ensure that it's right, or not. Again, check any other nomination direct link for full-size, to see what it should look like.

Thanks for fixing the link, so that it takes us direct to the photo. However, your full size link is still too small. - It needs to be 1200 x 340. ...and as per the rules, the photo can be as small as 1080x300. ..but only if you want it to look small and shriveled. 1200x340 is the best-practices standard that we hope everyone adheres to. But for those rare occasions where a great banner-photo won't quite fit, then that smaller size will be ok. But we hope that most people will strive for the full size standard of excellence. That was the intent of the range of sizes.
