Ok, as ferry fans, we are well aware of every ferry and route but there seems to be one that is a mystery that I found. The only problem there's nothing on the web (That I searched) on it. Where I found it was on Google Earth with the streets marked. Right beside Lougheed (H7 or TCH1) Highway is a road called Ferry Slip Road in Pitt Meadows and on the other side is Kingsway Avenue or a remnant of a section abandoned. At one time Kingsway Avenue crossed the river to Pitt Meadows. So this page will be dedicated to this.

For those of you who go looking for this, let me save you the trouble, since the description above is not accurate: The crossing refered is located on the Pitt River, not the Fraser, and is between the Pitt River Bridge for Lougheed Hwy, and the rail bridge. Ferryslip Rd is on the Pitt Meadows side, and Kingsway is on the Port Coquitlam side. I suspect this is just the alignment for the ferry crossing pre-Pitt River Bridge. There are a few former ferry alignments you can find for other bridge crossings, including the Massey Tunnel and the Rosedale Bridge on Hwy 9.
