I am currently on vacation in Houston, Texas, and I'm getting the opportunity to ride some of their ferries. There are two notable ferry systems down there, the Galveston Ferry and the Lynchburg Ferry. I just got back from riding four of the six Galveston ferries. The Galveston-Boliver Ferry is a ~15 minute crossing. There are 6 very similar ferries, each with a capacity of 60 cars and 500 passengers. They are the... -Dewitt C. Greer -John W. Well done. Thanks for filming, editing and sharing. My pleasure. I enjoyed every second. There's still much more to come, including a fourth walkthrough, loading completion&departure videos from both terminals, and many more pictures. Plus the Lynchburg ferry, which I will probably be on at some point Saturday.

From the Harris County Ferry, better known as the Lynchburg Ferry, I bring several new videos.
The Lynchburg Ferry system is composed of two identical, tiny ferries that operate a tiny route across the Houston Ship Channel.
I got three videos; a walkthrough, a horn recording, and a video of the tiny ships in action (posted in that order). Enjoy.
