Those of you who don't spend much time on the Alaska board may wish to check out the Trains on Alaska Ferries thread. deltic has posted pictures of the conversion of the Alaska, which used to the maritime rail connection out of Alaska for service as a barge and crew-house for BeauDril (Gulf Oil). It is well worth checking out.
