I have to say, after seeing those blue bench seats on the outer decks, they look suspiciously like the ones on the Coastal class vessels in the solariums which have been continiously breaking due to a weak design relying on 2 short welds to hold the whole thing together. each seat is welded to a square iron rod, and this square iron rod has simple welds connecting its legs at each end. Each seat can be rocked back and forth until the weld breaks, and in some circumstances possible groups of people rocking back and forth has resulted in the entire bar coming free of its welds.

We're in that awkward stage of having 1 ship almost-received, 1 ship almost ready for a voyage, and one still in the yard. So to sum up what Nick has said, we have: - A Salish Orca regular thread that will be the one that continues until the ship is retired. - A Salish Orca delivery & arrival-pool thread that's now old news, because delivery is over. - A Salish Class thread on the design and building of the trio. This story isn't over until the Raven leaves the yard.

I got interested in what Salish Orca is doing before going into services, so I restarted the Orca tracking on my website here: patbaywebcam.com/orca.phpYou'll notice it's now a super-ship that can cross land and islands in a single bound, all due to I only check positions every hour or so. tak
