The class named Salish, so that's the 3 BC Ferries (Orca, Raven, Eagle) Oh, ok Sorry You know, to make this more geographically 'broad', this 'flagship' should include BC's 'Salish Class', and WSF's M/V Salish (& possibly her sisters). Any ferry with the word 'Salish' in its name ...

I'm sorry that you disagree with my choice of theme for the months of August and September. As I'm sure you recall, our current theme in rotation for June and July features any vessel while not-in-service. My choice of theme is to feature an entire class of vessel, regardless of its state of operability. My apologies to you and anyone else who disagrees with my choice for us to feature BC Ferries' Salish Class.

This was merely a suggestion aimed at giving our WS members a reason to participate. I do not have WSF photos to contribute even if you were to go along with the suggestion. I am sorry that you were offended.

Thank you for clarifying your position, Jim. As you'd written "should include" rather than "suggest it include", this read negatively to the theme that was clearly conveyed and thus required my response.

This is a good theme. We've had vessel, or vessel-class, specific themes before, even ones with WSF, so I'm not too concerned about being restrictive here. We've also done a lot of themes that were more globally inclusive. It's nice to have a mix. I suspect there will be a lot of entries for this one, because it seems like the new Salish trio have been well documented by our Forum members.
