I am guessing it is going well. No news is good news. No one plans to get drunk on 1:35hr trip. If they are drunk, my guess is they were drinking before.

That's the cooler for the beer (and wine?); I am similarly unsure of what the question is though. Perhaps that the cooler is on a vessel not assigned to Route 1?

That is the cooler that is used to display beer and wine aboard one of the C-Class vessels. I was traveling on the Oak Bay yesterday and it was officially stocked up. However this past monday, the cooler was there but not stocked up. So I would say beer and wine are officially available on Route 2 now as well

Hi, sorry I didn't complete my thought. Snowmaggedon, busyness, other excuses.
I put that photo up b/c there was a big gap between discussions and I just wanted to guage what everybody thinks about this project now that it's in place.
I'm deliberately holding back b/c I have some knowledge to share which might make a few of you go hmmmmmmmm.

ok, so to finally finish that thought...
here are the rules: (please correct if i have it wrong) - only available on rt1, rt2, and rt30 - sales start at 1000 and end :30 before arrival - limit of 2 alcoholic purchases per person, but have to purchase a 'meal' as well (definition of 'meal' is very subjective. am told minimum order would be equivalent to is an order of fries or a bowl of soup) - currently only a lager, an ipa, a vodka spritzer, a merlot (extremely expensive and extremely tiny can) and a generic white blend (also expensive and tiny can) plus an apple cider are available - alcohol must be consumed in cafeteria
now that the trial is permanent, i hear a lot of the staff are unhappy - how are staff to enforce alcohol stays in cafeteria? - are staff expected to confiscate drinks on the sundeck? - how do you distinguish between alcohol bought and alcohol brought? - who is to enforce these alcolhol rules? - is onboard security expected to assume these duties? - will this increase the difficulty of assembling passengers during emergencies? - adds to the workload of staff, yet pay rate remains same
