Just wondering when the Aurora is going to be listed as such on Vesselfinder? After all this time she is a satellite position passenger ship. All the AIS sites depend on a VHF base station connected to the internet, and with an agreement with each website. It appears that Vesselfinder does not have any coverage for the North Island anywhere. This is a Vesselfinder problem, not a ship problem. MarineTraffic does have coverage for the area. |

I enjoy movie-making, and a ferry trip is a good opportunity for that hobby.
On December 30, 2022 I travelled from Port McNeill on Vancouver Island to Sointula on Malcolm Island, and return.
My ferry was the Island Aurora.
I had fun....
