On Friday this past week, got the awesome opportunity to go out and spot the second test frame of the Boeing 777-9 (N779XX) landing and taxiing at Boeing Field (BFI). The first test frame would arrive just an hour or so after this one, but those are photos for another day . Enjoy, for all who have yet to see it.

Great photos! Beautiful bird! I don't know how many of these we will see flying around. Even before COVID, airlines have been trending to smaller, more fuel efficient airframes, and now I fear the recession COVID is throwing us into might be the death knell for the 777. The 787 and Airbus A350 is what airlines want for their long-haul fleets. Still, nice to see this plane.

Even if they don't take a prominent spot in the future, you have plenty of time to go see one now they're both testing out of BFI during the week. Checking FR24 in the AM betwewn 9 and noon is the best time to check for departures that are listed, should anyone be interested in doing so. I'd be more than happy to share the best location to go get some photos.
