From a purchased vintage real photo postcard, we see the sleek liner HF ALEXANDER (SS GREAT NORTHERN) taking her passengers on a tour of Seattle's Elliott Bay before heading out on, most likely, another coastal voyage to California.
The post card shows a date of 1948. That must be an error! This picture might have been taken in the 1920s. Colman Dock is shown in one of its earlier configurations then.
