A reminder about photo sizes: - for those who rely on your hosting-program (ie. Flickr, etc) to automatically show the correct size, please be in the habit of checking your post to make sure that the resizing really did work out correctly. ....this is not the time to post & run. Also, a reminder that signatures are a max of 900 wide x 260 tall.

Unfortunately I now have to side-scroll all the time to see any page completely ...unless there are some settings I can adjust.

So what setting should I change it to? I guess to most people on here it's obvious, but I'm not really not all that interested in technology...so any help would be appreciated.

You will need to adjust your monitor's 'Display' settings, specifically the display resolution setting. These can be accessed through the 'Control Panel'. (Another way is to 'right-click' on your monitor's so-called 'desktop' (when no programs are active on the desktop). This should bring up a short cut menu in which you will need to select a menu item such as 'Screen Resolution' or 'Display Properties', etc. Exactly how this is done depends on many factors including what version of Windows you have.)
Do you know what is the 'Aspect Ratio' of your monitor? Up until a few years ago virtually all computers had a 4x3 aspect ratio, the same as older standard definition TV's. Today, however, most computer monitors are described as 'wide-screen' meaning that they have typically an 8x5 or 16x9 aspect ratio. Newer Hi-Def TV's have 16x9 aspect ratios. It is likely that you have a wide screen monitor unless you have a 'fairly old' monitor (meaning at least 4 or 5 years old).
Anyway, to display the WCFF web pages properly you need to choose a resolution of at least 1200 pixels in width. If you have an aspect ratio of '8x5' I would recommend that you choose 1280 x 800 as your resolution. If you have an aspect ratio of 16x9 try choosing 1280 x 720, or 1366 x 768. If your monitor has a '4x3' aspect ratio try choosing 1280 x 1024.
If all of this is 'Greek', get help from a local computer 'Geru', usually your neighbourhood teen-aged techno geek.

The Forum's new format fits my screens of my main and laptop computers just fine. I'm using a 19 inch monitor on my main and my laptop has a 17 inch screen.

Thank you FerryNutSeattle and Jim..the full pages display fine now. I would have figured it out eventually but I don't have a lot of patience for things like this
